Hidetoshi Matsumura is a Research Director at the Quantum Laboratory, Fujitsu Limited. He currently leads research and development efforts in control electronics for quantum computing systems at Fujitsu, with a particular focus on quantum computing using color centers in diamond. He has been involved in diverse areas of computing research for more than 20 years, including solving combinatorial optimization problems appear in social issues with specialized architecture, and possesses deep insight into quantum computing technology and computer architecture at various levels, application, software, systems, and circuits.
Academically, he earned his Master of Engineering Degree in Communications and Integrated Systems from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2003.
